In the most recent developments of happenings NADRA along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) is launching an innovative digital process for the issuance of Powers of Attorney to Pakistanis who reside in other countries.

NADRA Power of Attorney 2024 Online Application Process is start today 22 January 2024. So we can provide you with the eligibility criteria and complete the application process through this page. The newly developed software lets Pakistanis living abroad quickly apply for and obtain a Power of Attorney (PoA) at the convenience of their homes, eliminating the necessity for visits for Pakistan to visit the Pakistani Foreign Mission (FM) which could be inconvenient geographically.
NADRA Power of Attorney Eligibility Criteria
Must be an Overseas Pakistani
- You must be residing outside of Pakistan with valid proof of residency.
Valid identity documents
- You, your witnesses, and your attorney need valid identity documents like CNIC, NICOP, or POC (both sides).
Other requirements
- Valid email address
- Contact number and mailing address outside of Pakistan
- Biometrics of yourself and two witnesses (four fingers each)
- Credit/debit card for online fee payment
- A scanned copy of the original PoA with signatures, thumb impressions, and your photo
- Additional documents may be required depending on the purpose of the PoA (e.g., affidavits)
Attestation for foreigners
- If you’re not a Pakistani citizen, you’ll need to visit the relevant Pakistan Mission abroad after getting your documents attested by your country’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.

NADRA Power of Attorney Online Apply Process
- Account Creation
The applicant will access the PoA Portal to create their account by providing their e-mail address along with other details.
- Applying for POA
Once successfully signed up and authenticated (via OTP), the executor can Apply Online for PoA by submitting the required documents.
- Biometrics
The applicant will upload biometrics on the provided Fingerprint form.
- Fee Payment
The applicant will pay the required fee for the application and receive results of biometric verification.
- Video Interview
The Consular Officer will schedule and conduct an online (video) interview with the applicant to determine the final decision on the case.
- Final Consent
